The Norman Conquest

Around 1000 AD, the French King left some Vikings to live in France in exchangecof protection against other Vikings and they converted to Catholicism too.
After years, they said that they were very tired of living in Normandy and in 1066 AD, decided England and conquer it from Anglo-Saxons. The people called William the Bastard; when his father died, inherited his title of Duke of Normandy. When the king of England died, he wanted to dominate the country. In the battle of Hasting, the Anglo-Saxon king died becausehe has an arrow stuck in an eye, and William started to dominate England in Westminster Abbey and he built te Tower of London for his family and himself.
But William and his spoke French and the other people spoke English. For a long time two languages were spoken.



Life During The Middle Ages

In the middle ages, the pop culture likes talk about heroic moments of knight, romances, battles and discoveries. But life was sometimes very hard and always very regular and routine.
The majority of time was working in the agriculture and ranching for eat.
The only days when the peasent and lord can hand a rest wast the church celebration of sowing and harvest.


The social activities were very important and funny for let free time go by. For example, troubadours and acrobats actting inthe streets; stallholder selling products in the square, and much more. And about medieval superstions, that influenced in the science and the traveling merchants talked about cultures in others continents and countries. After that, started find new flavour were imported from the East. Finally, the education were forming across Western Europe that help to evolve.

Healthy Diet

For a healthy diet, everyday you must eat fruits, vegetables, legumes, cereals, milk products, bread and olive oil, because these food to contain vitamins, minerals and fibers.
Sometimes you can eat some candys, sweets, fizzy drinks or chips, but not much, because these have many calories and aren't very nutritious. You musn't eat junk food, pizza, hotdog or other type of oily food, because contein a lot of calories and are very fattening.
For drink you must to take two liters of water everyday, because is the most healthy drink.
You can't eat between meals. Finally when you eat carbohydrates and proteins, after that you must do a lot of exercises for burnt the calories.
With all that, you can have a healthy live.
